Good luck to Paul at Leeds UTD - and I think he'll need it as the pressure will be on and Leeds seem to be a managerial graveyard.

A quick look at Wikipedia says that Paul will be their 16th manager in the last ten years, so they've had a massive turn over of all sorts of different people at the top and offered them little in the way of time to make their mark.

Paul was a great player for us and he's obviously a talented and ambitious manager, I hope it goes well for him.

Not exactly a good career move going to Leeds, given their track record of going through managers. But one day they'll get it right and hopefully Paul will be the one. Good luck Paul, you might well need it.

Leeds is simply a step up from Barnsley who are 1 point off relegation and he's only won 1 game in the last 15 or something at Barnsley anyway. Fresh start and they are not a million miles from the playoffs this season.

He will have until Christmas next year. If they are not in the playoffs he will be gone but Leeds clearly have the means and potential to be in that position.

I'd have thought he'd have been better off staying at Barnsley, as they've just got a billionaire to buy their club and he had been given an extended contract. Then when he's proved himself at Barnsley, he could look to move to a bigger and better club.

Not a good start as they lose 2-1 in local derby at Sheff Utd.

I'm sure most people will have seen it, but the film "The Damned Utd" is excellent as Michael Sheen is more Brian Clough than Brian Clough and the scenes recreating 70's football are epic!!

The blurb is ..... 'The story of the controversial Brian Clough's 44-day reign as the coach of the English football club Leeds United'.

Leeds showing signs of revival, with two 2-2 draws against promotion hopefuls. Can't see them making the play-offs though.

I'm in conflict.

I like Mr Heckingbottom, but I don't like Leeds

I'm the same as you. Probably a good remainder of the season and Leeds to just miss out on the play-offs will appease our conflicts. :D
