I can't quite understand why they're building such a fancy stadium right off the hat. For a fan owned club, it seems over the top. They have more than us in their supporters group, but not enough surely to fund the thing they're talking about.

They should never sell the controlling percentage of their club, imo. Just as we shouldn't sell ours. Investors are fine, but they don't get overall control. You have to question *why* though. I wonder what their investors want in return.

Wow, £30 million for a new 9,000 seater stadium? A bit OTT I think.

I see that they've raised £20m themselves, which is hugely impressive! £2.5m came from crowdfunding, which dwarves the sorts of figures we've raised towards BM. I'm presuming most of the rest of the money raised came from selling Kingsmeadow?

They took over Kingstonian ground and then Chelsea took over and kicked them out of their own town In 2015, AFC Wimbledon agreed plans to sell Kingsmeadow to Chelsea in order to help finance their plans to move to a new stadium in Merton. Chelsea have stated that they wish to use Kingsmeadow for their own youth and women's teams and are not willing to accommodate Kingstonian. now ground share with Corinthian Casuals, a sad tale when you cannot play in your own town isn't it ?

It seems a bit absurd to me. Why do they need it to be a fancy all seater anyway? Apparently they have enough funds for the 4,000 main stand but then funding stalls after that... and they need millions more!? It seems a fairly simple choice to me. Build something cheaper on the rest of it!? Cheap terraces behind the goals... Didn't the tinshed only cost us about 150k? Absolutely mad.

Looks like they need to be out this season anyway, as they've already sold their current ground.

Biggest bunch of hypocrits going. Evicting kingstonian after the way there club was taken from them. So of they have to leave the ground next year and the new one is no where near been ready by then, surely its a ground share

The 4000 seats would mean they had no corporate income raising facilities and would be less than their current average gate meaning they are not generating enough money to cover debt and playing budget, meaning reduced playing budget and therefore likely relegation
