Nantwich away game postponed

Quakers’ away game at Nantwich on January 16th 2016 has been postponed because of Nantwich’s involvement in the FA Trophy. A new date for the game will be arranged by the league. Quakers now have six games to re-arrange: at Nantwich, Sutton Coldfield, Stamford and Frickley, and at home to Grantham and Rushall Olympic.

That's bad news, yet another game to be postponed and a long midweek trip at some future date.

When it's the weather that causes posponements, there is nothing that can be done about lost games.

However, the league have 4 weeks to move fixtures around/fit games in. There must be other clubs who are available for us to play on that weekend, even if we play on a Friday night. There will be more teams who are available that weekend due to the Trophy.

We should be playing at Frickley that day, so good news. Their game against Stourbridge will be cancelled.
