FA Trophy - next round format

Post by yaccly » Sun Feb 27, 2011 1:21 pm

FA's website states that teams are now 90 minutes away from Webley but there jhave been numerous posts concerning the potential ficture congestion caused by a twin leg semi-final. Any ideas which is correct.

Also there is a link to some highlights from yesterdays game. I havent tried the link as I'm at work so best not try.....!

Also any ideas when the draw is made.........bit tricky as Chasetown v's Mansfield is played Tuesday night?

It's a 2 leg semi-final. Dunno why the FA website says 90 minutes away from Wembley!!

Highlights don't seem to be up yet. The draw for the previous rounds has been made on Monday, normally around 11ish. Presume it's the same sort of time this round.

That's incorrect. Semi Finals are 2 legged, 12th and 19th March. Draw is on Monday morning, as it always is. Highlights will be up on FATV sometime today

Does the away goal rule apply in these semi finals?

No away goal rule then.

If it goes to extra time, you'd rather be at home in the second leg.

Means our games at Histon and Kidderminster will have to be re-arranged. There's only 3 possible Tuesdays they can go in, March 15, April 12th or April 19th.

These last 2 months of the campaign are going to be absolutely packed

Not sure if it's been mentioned but the FA Trophy website says we are "90 minutes from Wembley"

Gives the impression its only one leg semi final?

Yes it has been previously mentioned, and the FA site is wrong. It is definitely a 2 legged semi final.
