Seems a lifetime away but then again still remember it like yesterday.
Football has changed massively since then, the state of the pitch, the players and not all for the better.
We seemed to have a different identity back then than today's football.
The premiership has certainly killed certain aspects of the game, no prima donnas back then, you could tackle, people didnt seem to dive every time they got touched, oops stuck in time again

What was the attendance for that? Looks like the whole of the constabulary was there to boost the attendance!

I think it was in the region of 13,000 - officially......

I think the attendance was closer to 15,000, a great night with many scary moments.

I think it was about 14,300 approx. Loads from Boro. Notice nobody celebrating in the Tin Shed when we scored!

Mobi the shed was split into three , Darlo, Boro and in the middle half of Durham constabulary. I remember getting into the ground and my mate asking the nearest copper which end were the Darlo fans mainly in to which he replied "you paid your money you take your chance".mobi wrote:I think it was about 14,300 approx.
