...yet the bars are understaffed and the queues are miles long. Whoever's in charge of that wants shooting.

We cant afford to hire staff yet, and people were warned there would be queues

If anything they should be applauded for organising and hosting tonight. But I guess you can't please everyone or account for the short memories and unrealistic expectations of some. We are still in admin lets not forget.

Queues were to be expected. What was embarrasing was the fact they outnumbered us almost 3 to 1.

That's the worst logic ever.

It's quite easy to hire temporary bar staff. More bar staff means more people getting served. Meaning more income.

And how do we pay them?

No, they just want paying, I'd imagine.

Got to say the home support was disapointing, fair play to the ones who turnd up but it wont help that for many who turned up o the charitymatch under the impression all money raised would be used towards wages andstuff were left stung by the fact the administrators kept it and well we're still in admin with the possibilty to many that it could happen again

I think the way to overcome getting served in the bars, is to get there early and buy all the drinks you need straight away. Anybody turning up after 11-30am are going to be waiting ages. Anybody know officially what time the bar is due to open today?

I'd work the bars for free pre match and at half time aslong as I didn't have to miss any of the game.

That's the attitude we're looking for.
The club should be putting in ads for volunteers.

Not really mate.
They have a massive fan base and have the best away support in the country.
They go everywhere, even in the pissing rain, so for them to go to a very local club it's hardly a surprise they brought loads.
I'm just happy they brought a good number of fans and we hopefully got a bit of cash for it :)
