And I have heard that the North Stand will be open every week from now on to accommodate our vast army of supporters.

The Tin Shed bar will host strippers after every game.

For 'rumour', read 'something some bored b****** just made up'

If you are so certain - why post it as a rumour?

And also check to see whether there is a maintenance issue!!

As cynical as I am. I think this could be possible.

Dwindling numbers of fans, alcohol availiable (albeit at inflated prices with limited choice) in the concourse (which requires less staff due to queueing system/smaller bar). No real need for two bars.

Though I suspect the corner bar would be sacrificed before the tinshed is. Its happened before, why not now.

Must admit there hasn't been an awful lot of feedback on how the Ron Greener is doing since the charge came in carvery wise or drinks for that matter.

Do you not mean "albeit at a fair market price"?

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Inflated compared to whats on offer in a pint glass in the bars!

And thats all I will say, my views on the prices are well known and don't need repeating again!

But I can see the club closing one of the bars. Remember we only had one when it opened!

According to DC, who is one of the prawn sandwich brigade, the Ron Greener Suite does very well after the matches. Sounds like he may have been telling porky pies.

As darlotoon has said, there hasnt been alot of feedback on how the Ron Greener is doing so how does that mean DC has been telling lies? As far as I know DC isnt one for saying things that arent true. If the RG was doing badly then he would say so.

That is the key point.

We have two bars, for 1800 fans. Its a bit of a luxury.
I wouldn't be surprised to see one (probably the corner bar) close, and the extra staff moved to the tinshed (with possibly a few sent home). No point cleaning two sets of lines, having two sets of TV's going, two sets of toilets to clean, if one will do the job.

Dear Tate & Lyle,

Happy to acknowledge your correct line of information but still questioning your need to call it a "Rumour".

I too am privvy to useful information but a little more circumspect in how I release it.
