should west stand close?
no point in it being open if you ask me? its hardly a powerful home end when theres never anybody in it and a severe lack of atmosphere or noise. Away crowds of around 50 outsung them last season. I read on here that they planned on showing their support for the team and raj, yet i didnt hear a peep, and then come on here today slagging the team off, did they expect better

Re: should west stand close?
Were you actually at the game last night, as there certainly was drumming and singing in the West.
Not as much as for most League games admittedly, but given the pathetic attendance of Darlo fans, only to be expected.
The South Stand looked as empty as i can remember and as always was as silent as a graveyard.

Of course it should remain open. If any stand should be closed then it should be the South Stand. Move them into the west Stand and they might actually wake up.

Re: should west stand close?
slagging off the west stand for not singing much at a friendly....nice one
we bashed out a few songs at the start, but there wasnt much to sing about really since the whole match was just us getting battered.

Whats worse, slagging off the fans for not making much noise or slagging off league 2 players for being given the runaround by premiershit players?

Ah, the classic 'slag off the not-vocal-enough-fans-even-though-I-sit-in-fooking-silence' rant. It's been a while!
Should they also close the Dolphin Centre because only 12 people were in the pool from 10-12 yesterday?

Re: should west stand close?
im not making my comments off 1 match, but since the stadium opened. theres never any noise (barring the drummer who i cant fault), and not enough people in there, but yeah i cant say i'd complain if they shut the south and put everyone in the west and just had 2 ends open. just dont see the point in having 3 stands open for our crowds when theres not that many goes in the west anyway. If im a goon for having sensible convo and sharing opinions then i expect no better from a west stand young chap

Singing, or no singing, I go to the match to watch the game itself.
I prefer the view of the South Stand to the West Stand... If you're behind the sticks it is sometimes tough to see the game pan out i.e who's making runs, getting in behind... I like to see the players' movement off the ball, too.

From block 12 you can hear the noise the west stand make.
The only side that should be closed is the east stand, let the away fans have the north stand, then they can play off each other, and hopefully, untimately create a better atmosphere.

Re: should west stand close?
Got to agee sticking the away fans in the north stand would do the atmosphere the world of good, just look at the banter between the 2 sets of fans when we moved to the south stand (plus we've got Notts County to play ), 2 blocs towards the west stand would be more than enough
