Both bowman and chandler had solid games but I believe that Graeme Lee should have got it as he won nearly everything in the air and made some great last ditch tackles. Best game in a darlo shirt.

Bowman and big Ex were clearly our two best players today.

Did you all not see Mcready's performance today. He was pure class.

Pure class?!!?

We scraped a 1 nil win over a poor side, not one of our players were "pure class" today. They all worked hard etc but there were no outstanding performances.

Big Ex would've got my vote purely for that textbook header from a sitting position he pulled off towards the end.

Nice to see you arguing over us actually having a player deserving of MoM.

For me the sponsors got it right and Chandler was good before his knock but I don't agree with giving M0M to anyone playing less than 75% of the game unless he's single handedly won it by then.

Lee and Big Ex were solid at the back MBW and McReady were neat and tidy in midfield.

Also Sammy made you wonder what that Darlo Swede business was all about.

They were my main contenders today.

For the first time in a while there were several possible candidates.
More than anything else that's surely got to be a good sign?

Mcready for me. Put in a lot off effort and made some very good interceptions today.

John McReady's like a non-league David Silva. Even the hair's similar.

Lee's obviously got good positional sense and he'll head it away all day long, but I fear his legs have gone (if he was even ever that quick to start off with). He had a solid enough game, but Telford had zero pace in the side and even then he still had to make a couple of last-ditch recovering tackles.

It's a shame as I thought he'd be a rock for us this season.

That was basically my observation. No pace at all and had to make last ditch tackles for situations that never would have happened to a player who had more than walking pace.

Lee also kept slicing it out of play when only a simple pass was needed - Danny Hone-esque

I do agree with Quakerz, Lee did get himself into positions that wouldn't have happened if he had a bit more pace, hence the last ditch tackles. But, I think that's were Miller comes in because he has pace to burn for a centre half.

It's good that we are having different opinions on MOTM, I think that, James Gray, Jamie Chandler, Ryan Bowman, John McReady, MBW & Geohaghon all had good games for us yesterday.

I wasn't there but Russell's flying save sounded like it was instrumental in keeping us ahead and going on to get the three crucial points. For that reason alone I'd give it to him. Plus he hasn't had a deserved mention imo.

That's the only save he had to make actually. It was a good save from the free-kick but, the shot was closer to him if you get what I mean. It didn't loop over the wall Sammy just had to claw it away. He did command his area well though. Compared to other performances, Sammy's wasn't enough to warrant MOTM.

I thought McReady had a good game particularly in the first half (and was surprised to see him as one of the lower rated players in the match review). He has definitely grown this season and I hope he continues as a regular in the first team. Thought MBW had a much better game aswell, and would probasbly have given it to him.
