Tomorrow's game must be under threat

Which is more important? Playing tomorrow's game and bringing in much needed finance and ruining the pitch or missing out on some cash and saving the pitch. Personally I think it would be mad to play tomorrow's game and ruin the pitch.

You won't ruin the pitch at this time of year - the only issue is whether it's playable.

Different matter in the middle of winter when grass is not growing and ruts get frozen - etc.

Surely it's more important to play the game and get more money - leading to better players who play better football rather than not get the money and have worse players who won't play the ball on the ground anyway, making preserving the pitch a complete waste of time!

It had to be the worry wart darlopete that would come out with shite like this. The bloody pitch has extensive drainage which is independant of other drains and runs direct into the pond. Every year the same. The pitch will be fine.
