Scored his first goal for the heed last night in the penalty shoot out at the end of extra time in the trophy against braintree last night.
Well done Jamie, up and running already!

EDIT FA.com (http://www.thefa.com/Competitions/Results)has it he scored in extra time to either level the scores or put the heed 2-1 up (not sure which one)

Slightly out of order I feel.
If you or I were to lose our jobs and were fortunate to get other employment, where would your loyalties lie. Mine would be with my new employer who, after all, is paying my wages. I would still retain good feelings from my previous employer but life moves on my friend.
The majority of folk on here have nothing but respect for Jamie Chandler.

I have huge amount of respect for Chandler and appreciate all he did for Darlo and I understand the decision he made to leave the club.
I don't think "un-following" him on twitter goes against that?

If Chandler wasn't being paid to play for Darlo, would he have played for Darlo for nothing? No, he wouldn't have, either at the start of his career with Darlo or at the end. He's a professional and professionals' overriding concern is to be paid and I have no objection to that but I do object to them kissing the badge (or equivalent) as, invariably, it won't be long before they're kissing another badge if they're no longer getting paid.

Re: Jamie Chandler
Jamie played an absolute blinder of a game last night...Same as he did Sat when he came off the bench to score his first goal on debut...Was hard to see him put the shirt on but hey ho thats football....
Both teams were outstanding last night and I did think Braintree were very unlucky. Deasy did well to save Reasons pen as he isnt the most consistent GK.
Oh well Good Luck Jamie Chandler....you will fit in any future team...but certainly will be missed by us Darlo fans x

Not a problem, we just have different views. I just think that whatever he does now does not alter what he has already done for us. And I think he did play for nothing, as others did.
Anyway, we'll not fall out over it. there's more important things in life.

There's playing for nothing and there's playing and not getting paid. Two different things.RUMPLESTILTSKIN wrote:A kick in the Jacobs wrote:Why is it out of order? It's true.RUMPLESTILTSKIN wrote:Slightly out of order I feel.
