Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
brought this up last week and the more i watch this team, the more i feel he could do a job for us - yes he can be a lazy sod, but we have a team full of workers who at the moment cant score - im sure playing alongside gall he could have finished off a few half chances that came our way this evening
he's a free agent as far as im aware, wouldn't cost massive amounts, and we know he can score goals when given half a chance in the penalty area, i doubt there's many darlo players who can boast 13 goals in 15 starts and 14 sub appearances.

Might be worth a shot using the wages freed up by Windass leaving (presuming that's the case). He can certainly take chances (and penalties!), I'll give him that. Even if that performance in the play-offs was a disgrace.

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Not his biggest fan especially after the play off defeat at Rochdale, but get the ball to him around the box and he can score, certainly would get a couple for us
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
he'll be more than likely unfit as fuck tho i guess

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
As far as i know he's been out of the game for 17 months.
Do we even know where he is, let alone what condition he is in?

We couldn't all be cowboys......some of us are clowns!
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
He was out injured all last season. Hes now fit and looking for a club.
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Now's the time to be gambling on someone. 1 month contract to prove himself and take it from there. He will be in no position to be asking big bucks.
Why not
Why not

Good shout that we need some 1 like big dave back
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
i'm a friend of big Dave's on facebook!! I'll drop him a message!
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
I never ever ever want to see that c*** in a Darlo shirt again after the play-off semi loss at Dale. He's a lazy prick of the highest order who showed absolutely no passion for this club in our most important game.

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
he'l never play for this club again while there is people like Lidds and Maddo that have seen him play still at the club. I personally wouldnt have him back if he played for free, this is going to be a fight this season and he doesnt have any, we cant be carrying players like this
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
our 11 players working their arses off arent exactly setting the world alight though are they?!
desperate times......
desperate times......
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Was talkin to him on facebook and he was sayin he just wants to find a club in the football league which is a boost because we know he would come to us.
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Well if he wants to come back to Darlo hes gonna have to do some serious crawling to get the chance. Yes he looked like he couldnt be arsed last time but he was carrying an injury. Maddo will know what hes capable of as he was around when he was banging the goals in for fun, so will have seen both sides of him. If Maddo thinks it would be worth the gamble then I dont see what harm it would do.

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Let's face it, he can't be any worse than Gall!
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Give him a trial, and wire him up to one of them things where you press a button and it sends a big shock through his knackers every time he stops running or looks lazy.
He was an absolute disgrace that day at Rochdale, but may well have paid his price since, won't be much cash coming in at the moment.

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
i wouldnt have him back, and how can people have a go at gall, he was brilliant last night, getting back to nsungu, he wont be fit, also his attitude stinks
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Gall was excellent in all but finishing. His two finishes this season have been very good, maybe Windass was giving him some coaching who knows. I think it would have been quite useful to keep Dean on as an Attacking Coach. His experience could have really helped especially with players such as Main.
Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
Brilliant, yet no goals. Gall can be as brilliant as he was last night for the next 36 games, but it won't kkep us up.hodgie1 wrote:i wouldnt have him back, and how can people have a go at gall, he was brilliant last night, getting back to nsungu, he wont be fit, also his attitude stinks
I've given NN some thought since he was mentioned last week - initially it was a no from me, but the more I think about it, the more I think he's just what we need. A finisher who can create chances for himself. Get him in on a similar deal to Gall, month by month and see how he goes. He won't command much money, but his ability combined with Gall's running could get us somewhere.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
After giving it some thought I may be thinking along the same lines Spy.
The only terms I would have him are on a month by month contract to keep him interested. Tell him he has to score a minimum of 2 goals a month to keep his contract or something along those lines........although to be fair......if you can't play your heart out in a play-off semi with the prize being a day out in Wemberly and the chance to get promoted (which I imagine had a big bonus attached to it) when are you going to put in the effort?
I don't know, his attitude that day was unforgiveable but desperate times lead to desperate measures........

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
like has been said - he could be signed on non contract terms like gall is, so we wouldnt even have to commit to a month, just pay week by week while we have him, if he doesnt shape up in a couple of weeks ship him out, we'll have lost peanuts.hodgie1 wrote:what everyone seems to be forgetting he hasnt played for over a year, with the budget we currently have id be lothe to squander whatever we have on a totally unfit player
sounds like he's struggling to find a club at the moment and im sure he'd jump at a chance
else im open to better suggestions....

Re: Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu
He shouldn't be that unfit, he's been training with poolie for the last 2 months. Only for fitness reasons mind, not because they were looking to sign him.
And that is a fact
