Dial N for Ndumbu Nsungu

Post by divas » Tue Sep 29, 2009 10:59 pm

brought this up last week and the more i watch this team, the more i feel he could do a job for us - yes he can be a lazy sod, but we have a team full of workers who at the moment cant score - im sure playing alongside gall he could have finished off a few half chances that came our way this evening

he's a free agent as far as im aware, wouldn't cost massive amounts, and we know he can score goals when given half a chance in the penalty area, i doubt there's many darlo players who can boast 13 goals in 15 starts and 14 sub appearances.

Might be worth a shot using the wages freed up by Windass leaving (presuming that's the case). He can certainly take chances (and penalties!), I'll give him that. Even if that performance in the play-offs was a disgrace.

Not his biggest fan especially after the play off defeat at Rochdale, but get the ball to him around the box and he can score, certainly would get a couple for us

As far as i know he's been out of the game for 17 months.

Do we even know where he is, let alone what condition he is in?

Now's the time to be gambling on someone. 1 month contract to prove himself and take it from there. He will be in no position to be asking big bucks.

Why not

I never ever ever want to see that c*** in a Darlo shirt again after the play-off semi loss at Dale. He's a lazy prick of the highest order who showed absolutely no passion for this club in our most important game.

he'l never play for this club again while there is people like Lidds and Maddo that have seen him play still at the club. I personally wouldnt have him back if he played for free, this is going to be a fight this season and he doesnt have any, we cant be carrying players like this

Well if he wants to come back to Darlo hes gonna have to do some serious crawling to get the chance. Yes he looked like he couldnt be arsed last time but he was carrying an injury. Maddo will know what hes capable of as he was around when he was banging the goals in for fun, so will have seen both sides of him. If Maddo thinks it would be worth the gamble then I dont see what harm it would do.

Give him a trial, and wire him up to one of them things where you press a button and it sends a big shock through his knackers every time he stops running or looks lazy.

He was an absolute disgrace that day at Rochdale, but may well have paid his price since, won't be much cash coming in at the moment.

Gall was excellent in all but finishing. His two finishes this season have been very good, maybe Windass was giving him some coaching who knows. I think it would have been quite useful to keep Dean on as an Attacking Coach. His experience could have really helped especially with players such as Main.

Brilliant, yet no goals. Gall can be as brilliant as he was last night for the next 36 games, but it won't kkep us up.

I've given NN some thought since he was mentioned last week - initially it was a no from me, but the more I think about it, the more I think he's just what we need. A finisher who can create chances for himself. Get him in on a similar deal to Gall, month by month and see how he goes. He won't command much money, but his ability combined with Gall's running could get us somewhere.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

After giving it some thought I may be thinking along the same lines Spy.

The only terms I would have him are on a month by month contract to keep him interested. Tell him he has to score a minimum of 2 goals a month to keep his contract or something along those lines........although to be fair......if you can't play your heart out in a play-off semi with the prize being a day out in Wemberly and the chance to get promoted (which I imagine had a big bonus attached to it) when are you going to put in the effort?

I don't know, his attitude that day was unforgiveable but desperate times lead to desperate measures........

like has been said - he could be signed on non contract terms like gall is, so we wouldnt even have to commit to a month, just pay week by week while we have him, if he doesnt shape up in a couple of weeks ship him out, we'll have lost peanuts.

sounds like he's struggling to find a club at the moment and im sure he'd jump at a chance

else im open to better suggestions....

He shouldn't be that unfit, he's been training with poolie for the last 2 months. Only for fitness reasons mind, not because they were looking to sign him.

And that is a fact
