Food and drink on Saturday
Does anybody know if any of the bars are still in a position to operate on Saturday and will the food kiosks be open as well? Just if they're not, then people should be told so that people can bring something along with them.
Re: Food and drink on Saturday
Id like to see the rg open but I doubt it.

Another cringeworthy, overly-sensible Darlo_Pete post there. I think there are bigger priorities, like advertising the match so people come rather than making sure everyone gets their Bovril.Darlo_Pete wrote:Does anybody know if any of the bars are still in a position to operate on Saturday and will the food kiosks be open as well? Ah but what about the beer in the corner bar?
Waiting for Raj to shaft them!

In the spirit of diversity, it's good to have someone like DarloPete to discuss the more practical issues!jjmick wrote:Another cringeworthy, overly-sensible Darlo_Pete post there. To be fair I'm happy to know that. I had assumed they would not be open and would have got something on the way to the ground but now I know.jjmick wrote:Another cringeworthy, overly-sensible Darlo_Pete post there. Cheers Pete (and strangetown for responding)

The thing is, he's like one of those fussy grandparents, always worried about things. Why can't he enjoy the fact we have this precious time without panicking?

I think Pete should get in his kitchen and churn out a few hundred of his festive Turkey and Ham pies in time for the match on Saturday. Messageboard regulars and the like can enjoy a slice of Pete's culinery masterpiece with all profits going to the club.
Re: Food and drink on Saturday
if the food is not on i guess i will just have to put the £3.10 i would have spent on a cheeseburger into a bucket
Re: Food and drink on Saturday
app the rg is open, and carveries are available - but you have to book so i'm told

So the kitchen is still there? Thought they had been stripped, as stated previously?

I'm with you Spike that's what I thought as well. The club or someone needs to say what will be open and working on Saturday, preferably before the match.

That's good, but what about the Corner Bar or Bar 66?Thebobster wrote:Concourses are open definitely
Re: Food and drink on Saturday
I might be wrong...but Bar 66 might be pushing it a bit far, I am sure it was mentioned in a previous thread that the corner bar would be open.
