Re: Nice Touch.
Yep another touch of class. Much appreciated Stags.
We couldn't all be cowboys......some of us are clowns!
Re: Nice Touch.
Yeah, I noticed that too. That would be the point where most fans would start laughing.princes town wrote:Top class stags and the round of applause for the 80 - brilliant

It was clearly audible on the radio.
Re: Nice Touch.
The applause was respect given and deserved to true football fans, myself and 3 others chatted after the game and are going to attend one of your games before the seasons over to show our support for you, need to check fixtures but we will make it.
Tonight I honestly believe your traveling fans could have sat (stood) with us and had a bloody good sing song together, Darlo have become my second team cemented tonight by the extremely good natured pre match banter, banter probably not the right word, I'm sure you know what I'm trying to convey ?

Re: Nice Touch.
Yeah I second what stag party says, you don't deserve what's happening to you, and although you broke our hearts in May last year, that pales into insignificance with the current situation.
Teams like Crawley Stevenage Fleetwood have NO history are buying their way into our league (our Football League!) but once great clubs like yourselves are suffering
I applauded your fans, players and management to a man last night, shouted a few words of encouragement like it was the Stags players coming off .
Hope you avoid the drop folks and best of luck for your battle

Re: Nice Touch.
Football is a much richer place for the likes of Darlington FC. Last night your fans and team were a bloody credit. A much better side than the score suggests, and an excellent spirit.
Just a shame that it wasn't a Saturday; Tuesday night games seem to be going hand in hand with the demise of mid-week trips to the pub - folks just can't be arsed. 1600? Garbage. If it wasn't for our chairman, we'd be in the very same difficulties as your goodselves.
Good luck with the campaigning and the fight to stay in the BSBP Darlo.
