I don't know... If I was hungry and offered a dogs*** sandwich I probably wouldn't eat it. Maybe the bread.

In reference to beggars can't be choosers: If I was a hungry beggar I would still be choosy if offered a dogs*** sandwich.

Would you fuck.
You wouldn't touch it.

I've known homeless people turn down a sandwich because they didn't like tuna!

It was as if people were just waiting for a mistake from keltie, were supposed to be in this together not hurling abuse at our players

Keltie via Twitter "You scrap and fight for your own club under circumstances people don't realise and a minority of inbreds still give players abuse #SoSad"

I believe that's exactly what I'm saying - I probably wouldn't eat it and I would be choosy.

More seriously though, I don't think beggars can be choosers and I'm happy having Keltie in the squad for now in terms of numbers and experience, but if he doesn;t improve soon he is just adding to our burden.

I'm not sure "inbreds" is a wise comment.

Idiots certainly.

I responded to Keltie, saying "Thats very harsh"

He then messages me back. "harsh on what level? My own family in the crowd to cheer the players on, even paid to watch. Come say it to my face.. #BrainDead"

Really? Is he really abusing me?

How about you say
"You'll come back stronger next week mate" or something like that.

Something actually supportive instead of calling him on something he has justification to feel pissed off about?
He might have had a stinker but calling him out on it in public is not constructive

Let his Manager deal with that.
If you've got a complaint, go over his head.

What will you achieve getting into a slanging match?

Did you respond to his "My family were here" tweet?

I did say "getting into" not "you're in a" slanging match

According to some: Keltie gets abuse then that's OK. Keltie gives abuse, that's bad.
Alun's promise to the fans: “I’ll make sure I’ll bring players in that are value for money and I want players that want to play for Darlington Football Club, want to progress and move up the league and show the fans that passion.”

Bottom line - it is NOT Keltie's fault that we let two absolutely laughable goals in. It is NOT Keltie's fault that we have zero threat at the other end.

Keltie was NOT the worst player on the pitch today, and the people blaming him for our crap defence and crap attack probably are inbred.

Can I just ask - what abuse has Keltie had? Am I missing something?

sorry, but calling the supporters 'inbreds' is bang out of order. he should know better than to start spouting out stuff like that on twitter.

But he said "a minority of inbreds", not "Darlo supporters are inbreds" - there is a difference.

And to be fair, given some that do follow DFC, he probably has a point.

Who WAS our worst player then? I think most would say Keltie.

So it's ok for people to call him a useless twat in the stands but when he gets annoyed and sounds off you think that's out of order?

Yes that makes sense.
