Where did all the players go?

I was wondering where some of last seasons squad have disappeared to. Tried soccerbase but nothing so far for

Poole
Griffin
Kaz
Blundell - Chester?
Fortune

I assume that Kaz has left? Shame as he showed a lot of promise towards the end.

Those players are still unaccounted for.

Kaz is reported to have gone back to Poland - though no-one has found him yet.
The others are probably on trial with non-league clubs
and Blundell joined Ryan at Chester (who seem to be in quite a mess)

If and when we come out of admin, would those players still be under contract to Darlo?

Poole could still do a useful job for us I reckon.

dont know if chester have signed blundell since they're in deep crap, if chester disappear of the face of the earth i think i would be worth todd trying to get ryan back he's better than what we have now.

dont quote me on this either but i heard somewhere that griffin is back at stockport

correct, both griffin & poole are on trial at stockport, or at least they were 2 weeks ago. stockport's budget wont be a million miles from ours as they are also in administration, hence trialing lads that have done a job for them in the past.

cos we're trialing (& signing) lads that have done nowt for us in the past

very much doubt it, we're probably better covered in CM than any other area of the team and keltie wouldnt come cheap.

priority is full back, right wing and centre forward

3 key season long loans and we could be transformed from mid table mediocrity to play off challengers.

We're gonna need alot more though than 3 or 4 loaners...

Looking back at some of the injuries we've suffered in the past 2 or 3 seasons, everyone should be aware that it takes strength in depth to compete.

As much as I love Windass, if he gets a knock, and is out for a month or two, we could really struggle for goals.

the days of us having 20 odd first team players are long gone, if we get 3 loan players, and its a big IF, then that will be the strongest squad we can possibly hope for this season.

the kids such as main, gray, riley and groves will see a fair amount of action this year.

we've been spoiled for the last 3 seasons, its time to get back to reality.

I agree Divas - it is time to wake up to reality. We will have a small squad and have to battle hard all season to simply stay in this league.
