Who's making the trip to Whitby?
I guess they'll be a good few fans making the trip over to Whitby on Saturday. I'm going in the car with 2 others, 3 if DC bothers to reply to my e-mail. Who else is planning to make the trip?

Off to Northallerton vs Newcastle Benefield as I can't make Whitby. Will be there again to see Darlo on Monday though with four others, be good if we can get near a four figure attendance at that game! (Northallerton fans included)

News was wrong, the gala hasn't been cancelled.
Re: Who's making the trip to Whitby?
I would've quite liked to have gone to this one, but I'm off down to Staffordshire this weekend for a wedding where the bride is somehow vaguely related to Craig Hignett. I don't really know anyone else who's going, so I may need to get a fair bit of mileage out of that particular nugget, as I do find there's only so much of Darlo's very recent history you can go through with complete strangers before they start to glaze over.
Re: Who's making the trip to Whitby?
I'll be going, will th players have their names on their backs? Otherwise I wont have a clue who's who
Re: Who's making the trip to Whitby?
I will be running 100km in 24 hours in aid of the gurkha foundation, I would far rather be enjoying fish chips and a cracking game of footy in whitby!!
Re: Who's making the trip to Whitby?
Nope, the players will be wearing last seasons kit for the friendlies , numbered 1-11.
Think before posting

There had been some reports earlier in the week it would be called off, especially after the Yorkshire Show Debacle, but it is definately going ahead as plannedDarlo Nutz wrote:According to the news yesterday Miners gala was called off fella.fozzovmurton wrote:Was hoping to get to Whitby, but got company coming from Northern Ireland and we are going to the Miners Gala, will be doing a couple of friendlies later in Pre Season

You will never be stranded if you have already purchased a ticket!
