We tend to look shaky until we score(which is only a matter of time each week) then opposition heads drop and the floodgates open!

We really can't do much more than we are currently doing, 6 points up for grabs against them that might end up deciding the league!!! Tounge in cheek slightly

To be fair, Spennymoor are probably getting sick of us as well. They've had perhaps their best ever start, have potentially their best squad, and they're trailing in our wake, albeit with games in hand.

Another win...while playing poor for some of the game?

I'll take that all season.

You can almost hear the nipsy's on NLZ bemoaning that the poorest team in the league ended up top of the table.....

It's not always about looking good, and sometimes the best teams inexplicably nullify other teams which is why they win.

Oh....hold on...I think I might've just been arrogant there...

You ARE the poorest team in the league as your 4-1 loss at Jizzburger proved!

Shildon are miles better than you in a sort of 16 points behind you sort of fashion. Accept this.

Non league user name - I'm so affronted by your post that I'm going to hold my breath until I die. Or scream until I'm sick.

Poor performance in truth. That said can do no more than win. Disappointing crowd, what is it with the Darlo public, seems any excuse not to attend. How can you win 2 on the trot, home and away and loose 30 percent of your support. Has the novelty worn off, reality kicked in

Have you been double shedding and splitting the ace?

I guess an avatar says you'll be sticking around

The chance of rain, lack of cover. Some have got used to the luxuries of the arena and forgotten what proper football is all about.

Still, we arent as bad as the heed for naff crowds!!!

Lone star your last comment on heed very true, but no consolation. Darlo support is fickle, 900 is never going to finance a permanent new home in Darlo. For years the missing were stating they would support a winning team, well now they have one. Don't giveg them help with their excuses

Tonight was our 7th home game (inc. BA "away") in just over 5 weeks. I think our crowds so far have been excellent and tonight was a very reasonable gate considering the above plus the fact we play out of town. No need to panic or slag off the Darlo public.

As for the performance I though Clough had a big impact when he came on and helped us break down a well organised Durham team. With Dowson and Thompson to return things are looking good.

I was also very impressed with Clough's contribution. He looks up and distributes the ball very well I thought.

Cloughs a good footballer, he struggles in the games that turn into a battle in the centre of midfield but football wise he is one of our better players.
