SJ deserves a starting place if you ask me. He's done everything required of him when he's come on as sub.

Wouldn't mind. Confidence will be sky high.
For you to insult me, I must first value your opinion.

very very lucky on the night we were a million miles away from saturdays performance thought the 2 wingers and 2 forwards didnt look no were near themselves thompson emms nicholls our danger going forward were very quite things didnt seem to stick up top so the lads could join in and seemed to play alot of long balls rather than our usual passing game which we have played last few weeks which ment scott and gott didnt get much of the ball but we didnt play well at all but still ended up with the 3 points you carnt score 7 or play well every week think gray will take the 3 points and hopefully get another 3 with a better performance staurday

Strong case for Johnson and Reay

The problem I think we've got is, and evidence of this was last night, Amar comes off and we lose the only player who can effectively take the pressure off and hold it up.

Reay and Johnson just don't have the strength and Reay shines best when he's poaching, not holding the ball up. We lost all momentum when Purewal came off and starting hoofing it to get rid, ofcourse it was coming straight back.

Was Dowson warming up last night, pretty sure i seen him. I think he will be back in the squad on Saturday.

We do lack that hold up player if Amar is not playing. Clough Tweeted has a slight knock (bruised foot via stoods), he is hoping he will be ok on Sat.

Ellison was at Bedlington v Spennymoor last night, Stoddart seem to be hinting at him signing for Spenny.

I think it's a nailed on certainty that Ellison will end up at Spenny. He may just be a squad player, but he'll be able to play on a Sunday given that it's a sideline team of Groves.

i guess part of the reason for having a big contracted squad is it stops other teams securing quality players. Not sure i can see marc getting in their midfield cause it is mint

No Spennymoor players play on a Sunday as they are all contracted. It seems to be paying off as well :D

Yep, 19 wins on the bounce if we include the 8 straight wins at the end of the last season, and you're deservedly streaking away with the league.

Oh, wait...

If we had played as many games as you we may well be top of the league. The table will tell the full story at the end of the season.

I am not worrying about Spennymoor. If they win the league and choose to go up it will make it a nailed-on promotion for us next year. Meanwhile the Town can shoot off to play the likes of Trafford next season and get trounced. They certainly won't win 6 - 0 week in week out!

Realistically we are not going to get back up the league with back to back promotions all the way to League 2 as we rebuild.

Looking forward to Saturday!

Now ladies, break it up.

All of this playground stuff amongst ourselves and the other NL supporters is borderline embarrassing.

Same on your board to be fair, I've had a few telling me to fuck off over the months, for no reason.
