Goals from Spenny game now online
Re: Goals from Spenny game now online
What a frigging goal our 3rd was. Would grace any football pitch that one. Awesome run by Thommo, simply awesome.

Some storming goals and great passing and link up play, I'm even tempted to buy the full match DVD of this
Re: Goals from Spenny game now online
I enjoyed how someone close to the camera went "ooooh?" as Terry unleashed that cannon blast for our equalizer! And as everyone else has said, what a run by Tommo to set up Nicholls for the 3rd! Looks even better on the video footage! The little flick from Dowson was lovely too! We have a lot of very good players here but Tommo especially is playing way below his ability at this level. Last night said it all about our team's attitude and mentality too. A tight game against the toughest opposition we're going to meet all season, 2-1 up late on, most teams would go into defense mode and risk getting caught out in injury time, not us, our lads say "bollocks to that, lets get another!"

Love the lack of reaction to the fans behind the goal when Spenny scored! The majority weren't arsed!

That's because most of them weren't Spenny fans I suspect. From comments on NLZ there seems to have been an awful lot of neutrals there in the home end. When they scored there was a little pocket of about 50 pele behind the goal who cheered. Nobody else moved!

My favourite was when we scored the second and one of them puts his head in his hands. Made me laugh.loan_star wrote:Love the lack of reaction to the fans behind the goal when Spenny scored! The majority weren't arsed!
Dowson's flick into Nicholls path for the 3rd is fantastic nearly as good as Thompson's run.

on any other night the 2nd goal would have been a stormer. The movement from Dowson for the goal brilliant.

Looked like there were loads more Darlo fans at the game than home fans, great to see the goals.

Not sure what I enjoyed more: the goals or the celebrations
