Saturdays match

Post by Comfortably_numb » Fri Mar 22, 2013 5:55 pm

I presume this will be called off.

Not because I've seen the weather or anything. Just that it's a Saturday between the months of November and March....

Its an away game so could well be on.
Actually apart from the gales up here there is nothing to prevent it going ahead.
Ground is actually drying out, however snow is due during the night.

Bedlington have tweeted us to say Chairman said game looks to be on. They also emailed me this today. Who doesn't love a bit of karaoke!

To all Darlington fans from Bedlington. Our clubhouse will be open from 11 am to cater for all your needs and we have arranged with, for the early arrivals amongst you, the market Place Cafe Bedlington High Street to cater for your breakfasting requirements.

For those fans who want to stay for a drink after the match we have entertainment on in the form of karaoke so all you budding Elvis Presley Rod Stewart The Eagles or even Pavarotti fans don't be shy get up sing and join in.

We hope that we will avoid the weather promised and the game can go ahead and we all have a great day

Good idea for the fundraising group to consider.

It seems it hasn't snowed here in Gateshead, not sure if anything has happened in Bedlington 16 miles north though.

bishop and west are at home so they may be off

no snow in guernsey by the looks of it, imagine if this was off, it would be chaos

Just to clarify the terms, are you saying if Bishop and West matches are on or if Bishop or West matches are on?

Take your pick. I haven't been into West / Bishop but I only live 5 minutes from either and I fail to see how they could be any different to what it's like outside my front door.

That's a lot of snow to move for any set of fans. It's about 3 or 4 inches deep at the minute and we know only too well how long it takes to shift snow from the pitch.
