Re: Next seasons shirts
just realized i filled out my ST application form, ticked the box for a shirt put my size on and i've not even seen the shirt yet
must still be on a high from yesterday, just write the cheque out and forget about it
hope its not black red and white stripes (like that horrible reynolds strip !) otherwise it will be £30 down the drain

Re: Next seasons shirts
This is one of the things as a fan owned club that it goes to the members/fans to vote on via a online poll or something, that way we don't get a silly unpopular strip like we have in the past
Any news on the sponsor for the shirt for next season?

Re: Next seasons shirts
Good prices. Hopefully the designs are good. Hoops for the home kit, and a nice holland style orange away kit will do me!
Re: Next seasons shirts
Have heard you won't be able to miss the players on the pitch with the away shirt so I'm guessing its bright

Re: Next seasons shirts
Yes, it would've generated a bit of interest - a bit more fan involvement. That's one to watch out for next time around.Bogratsteve wrote:This is one of the things as a fan owned club that it goes to the members/fans to vote on via a online poll or something, that way we don't get a silly unpopular strip like we have in the past

Re: Next seasons shirts
My mate has told me a lot of Evostick teams have their kit supplied by Nike and looking at Farsley's club shop price for a shirt, I think it could be them.

Surely it can't be so hard for someone to find out and just say?

Re: Next seasons shirts
If we go with Nike you can forget hoops, as I don't believe they'd do a bespoke design for an insignificant non league club.

Re: Next seasons shirts
Hopefully we've got a local company that are taking a decent cut of any shirt sales but more so are able to produce at a price that means we can make a decent wedge as well!
Re: Next seasons shirts
I think hoops are out of the equation at those prices. Hoops are kind of bespoke, that's why it cost as much as it did this season.
So...yeah. I'd be surprised if the home shirt was hooped.

Haha love it, sounds a bit "different", looks like something to do with a charity involvement too. Certainly something to add to the collectionBogratsteve wrote:Looks like pink for the away shirt......

Re: Next seasons shirts
I'm not sure about this one, but it comes in at about £30 for the shirt, shorts and socks.

Re: Next seasons shirts
I'd hope we don't move away from hoops again!
There is something worth thinking about though and I am interested to see what impact people think it would have.
We could try and keep the same kit design two years in a row and just change the sponsor at the end of the year. I think when there were talks of imposing a minimum length of time for clubs to keep their shirts this was mooted as the way round it.
This could be a way to get economies of scale whilst also getting shirt revenue year on year.
