New Shirts 2013/14
New Shirts 2013/14
When are these likely to be disclosed what they look like & what is the likelihood of having a shirt with our hometown's actual name on it? Not meaning to sound funny about that but get tired of people asking who we are living down South. When we were sponsored by Darlington Building Society it was so much easier!

Our badge doesn't have our name on it. We are not unique in this.
What it is though, is a symbol of continuity. We should not mess with it.

We know who we are, that's all that matters.
We are Darlington FC.

Do we get a gold star above the badge

We score when we want

I think we should leave the badge as it is. Who cares what other people think? Living down south i have the same problem but who cares what they think??
Re: New Shirts 2013/14
The badge is the badge - it is one of the only visible signs of what we paid our money for when we bought the club. We've been forced to change the location, change the name, change almost everything else - there's no question that we keep the same crest.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

...plus, If someone asks, then it's great that you get to tell them about our football club.
We paid a lot of money to acquire that badge, and we most definitely shouldn't change it, people love it!
Former owners have tried changing the badge in the past, and the fans always wanted our current badge back and we eventually got our way, it's our club after all. Remember the Awful Mike Pedan badge, then George's attempt?
Stick with what we've got!

It is an opportunity to bore the socks off some Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal supporter about what it is like supporting a proper football club, and to open their eyes to what a crock of s*** the FA is.
