Fund raising friendlies
Fund raising friendlies
Has anyone heard anything about who me might host this summer? Here's hoping now we are sorted at Blackwell we can maybe tempt Sunderland and Boro along? Could help a lot in developing the ground and guarentee a sell out?
Re: Fund raising friendlies
Will the pitch/drainage works mean we won't be able to have home friendlies?
....off to the arena we go!!

Re: Fund raising friendlies
I really hope they are done in time for us to host a couple, but who knows. Funnily enough they've just announced some away friendlies. Shildon, Guiseley and Gateshead. The latter two should be a nice measure of how far we have come, and how far away we are from competing in the division above!
Going to the arena is all well and good, but we'll have to pay a fee to play there. I'm sure we'd be much better off hosting a couple of games at BM which reach the 3k capacity than even getting 5-6k at the Arena, which i'm sure we would against Boro or Sunderland. Get the buckets out and get all the proceeds towards the ground works. It could surely make a big difference

The pitch work started today so if there are any friendlies I'd expect them to be at the Arena.

Perhaps we could do a testimonial for Moyes ?
