Darlo's score tonight

Post by RUMPLESTILTSKIN » Wed Jul 22, 2009 8:30 pm

Darlo finished 0-0, I'm afraid I don't know the half time score.

Att: 565

Att: 545 (I thought Radio Tees said)
No 545 would have been shocking, it was 565  A big  to those who went, it wasn't a very appealing fixture compared to "the big 3"

Excellent, a clean sheet. People seem to be impressed with Plummer and obviously habing Arnison and Bower as full backs gave us some much needed solidity.

Girlfriend was there, said 565 announced. And she couldn't remember the score

to look at plummer there's nothing to him at all and i wondered whether he'd be bullied but from what i have seen he's looked very promising, couple of years behind him, bit more of a physical edge and with a few games and he could be a real asset.

its also heartening to see that he was very well thought of in hull's reserve team last term

plus he hit the crossbar on soccer am

Certainly for the first time out looked very solid. On the basis of tonight certainly worth signing up.

Did anyone else notice that Hamilton had 2 of the biggest centre halves that i have seen for a while, so perhaps our 2 strikers didn't do too bad.

i agree with you there divas, to look at matty plummer he appears light weight but he seems to be able to hold his own and looks a very promising prospect.

also been quietly impressed with lumsdon, has a football head on him!

I thought the back four looked much more solid last night, Bower and Arnison both look comfortable playing in the full back positions. A big improvement on James and Starosta. We just lacked the cutting edge up front last night, but had we created a few more chances we could of beaten a very poor SPL side.
Knight looked more confident in goal last night, made a few good stops and his kicking is excellent.

Have to say Sam that Knight looked far more confident last night. When crosses came in he was positive and if he couldn't catch, punched well.

I was very worried about our goalkeeping after the last 2 games, but Knight's performance last night has eased those worries.

No, Woodhead has put in a few good performances and was on the bench last night. Seems like the lad is still on trial, I'd sign him up personally

ive never seen liversedge so i dont know if he's adequate backup for knight, if we can manage to farm him out on loan somewhere we might bring in woodhead, otherwise 3 keepers would be overkill on a tight budget.

Might go back out on loan to Whitby as they wanted to see Liversedge sign permanently at the end of last season
