Another club into fan ownership
Dunfermline the next one, note how their ex chairman wrote off £8m, how many times the size of what we owed RS?

It was a case of vote for the CVA you'll get nothing. However if you vote against the CVA you will get nothing.
Dunfermline's stadium East End Park is owned by another company, who are also in administration with a different administrator, so they have no assets to liquidate, Pars United are preferred bidder for that company as well so just have to wait for that CVA vote.

Haha that was the choice somebody else had.
That person chose nothing plus everyone else gets nothing.

Sorry for going off topic a bit.
What is the difference between our past situation and Coventry City. Part of their club has gone into liquidation and they only get a 10 point deduction. Bigger Football league club, FA different rules.

I think it's because they are in the Football League. If we had been in the Football League we'd have been able to do something similar.quakerlady wrote:Sorry for going off topic a bit.

I know it's not the greatest answer but I think the FL seems to offer some sort of protection. Don't really understand how it works though.

I think it's because the "football share" has been transferred to the new owners, something scumbag singh refused to do.quakerlady wrote:Sorry for going off topic a bit.

It's because Cov are Football League, as for the Football Share, whoever held Coventrys share seemed to have no choice about it.
Look at Leeds in 2007 for a similar scenario

Re: Another club into fan ownership
Somebody on another forum was saying that the FL hold their football share for some reason, not quite sure on how that could occur though.

Might be part of the membership route to the FL, give us your football share.shawry wrote:Somebody on another forum was saying that the FL hold their football share for some reason, not quite sure on how that could occur though.
It's all feels rather intangible to me still, remember we have experience of 1 man owning the football share - I have more question marks over that than the FL having them. Think the league do it to protect the so called 'integrity' of the league, they then have the power to move teams up and down not the FA.

Re: Another club into fan ownership
So does that mean the league ultimately have all power over a club, they own the share and I guess they just sub lease the share to each company who is in control of a football club
