Darlo v Wakefield - Boxing Day

Post by super_les_mcjannet » Sat Dec 21, 2013 10:05 pm

Well after todays game, I hope the weather settles down and the pitch is playable. Bishops home game today was called off but hopefully we will be ok for this one.

Darlo second top scorers in the league (51) v Wakefield worst defence (72) hopefully the game will go as you would expect.

I am guessing at 4-0 Darlo with a crowd of 1,430.

We really, really, need this game to be on. Let's pray for some dry weather.

As you say, bad forecast for Monday, but according to Met Office forecast it should be reasonably dry thereafter until 9pm on Boxing Day.

Having just seen the weather for the rest of the week I am not to hopefull that our games will go ahead. It will be just our luck that we miss out on two good crowds.

I hope I'm wrong. I have my pitchfork at the ready if we are called upon.

There should be no problems on Boxing Day. It's Saturday that's looking dodgy at the moment

Really? Excellent if so. Is there anything in the news about this? I couldn't see anything but it's certainly newsworthy and might get a few more on the gate to congratulate him.

An understanding with Mowden Park to stage bigger games at the Arena would be handy.
Bit late for boxing day but promotion clinchers or play-offs or future FA cup ties would allow a one off 4000 or 5000 which would be handy extra revenue.
