It's so quiet on here these days.

I know there's not so much back stage bollocks happening now, but some of the characters have just disappeared - AKITJ/Bedale Darlo!/Forster/Snowscape. Others have just quietened down.

Hell, things are getting so bad that we might all have to be nice to Spen at least he bothers to turn up.

The forum wouldnt be so dead if the site owner didn't ban actual Darlo fans at the drop of a hat whilst allowing tedious white noise bores to stay and stink up the joint.

With Facebook/Twitter, I think all forums are dying in popularity a bit so it’s unlikely this place will ever reach the heights of the old days.

Only thing I would suggest that might improve activity on here is to get rid of the other subforums. They were always quieter than the main forum but now they are pretty much dead. From my experience on other boards, having quiet sections discourages people from posting and leads to them visiting the site less and less.

Whereas if everything was kept to just the one forum, it would (hopefully) encourage more posting as people know their thread will get more views. I don’t really see the problem with having a few off-topic threads mixed in with the Darlo ones, the board used to be like that and was much better for it IMHO.

Just my two-penneth, the mods may disagree.

As I am am affectively living in Newcastle full time now, I rarely have a free Saturday so don't get to the games, which is why I normally just read the forums now rather than actually posting.

Have to agree though, it is rather quiet on here these days. We have lost some characters over the years. How long has it been since Toothy passed on? He was always one for the banter.
