Best and worst away games this season
I think the best result away from home this season was away at Warrington were we won 4-1, followed up by the 7-0 win at Burscough and the 3-0 win at Bamber Bridge.
For the most exciting it has to be the 3-2 win at Clitheroe, with us 2-0 down at half time and Amar scoring in the last minute.
The worst result for me was the 3-0 defeat at Rammy along with that awful performance at Farsley which I unfortunately witnessed.

Agreed, it brought back painful memories of that night at Guisborough last season.MKDarlo wrote:Farsley - terrible.
Best for me has to be Mossley, not particularly because of the game but the setting, nice little ground with a scenic backdrop.
love it! wrote:Considering we are Darlington 1883 I'm happy that we are named correctly

Best Aways, there's two for me:
Bamber Bridge away last August when we won 3-0. Major roadworks on the M6, kick off was delayed until 8:45. Team did part of their warm up on the team bus before they got to the ground.
We won 3-0 that night and absolutely destroyed them from start to finish, with an absolute beauty of a 20 yarder from Thompson.
Clitheroe away would be the other. 2-0 down at half time, absolutely woeful, came out second half, and won 3-2 with a 92nd minute winner from Purewal. Don't think I got my voice back until the following Tuesday after that goal went in.
Worst without a doubt was Ramsbottom away, we were awful that night, their two wingers ran rings around us and it looked as though they score with every attack.

Ramsbottom was the first and last away game I went too this season. Awful night. Awful result.

Not been to many this season but have experienced good and bad. Worst was Farsley .
Best either Burscough or New Mills. . . . Thompson is in my all time Darlo side on the back of these games alone. Incredible stuff.

Only games I have been to this season were Ramsbottom (A), Curzon Ashton (A) and New Mills (A).
Needless to say Ramsbottom was the worst and New Mills was the best!

Just really enjoyed the experience-what a welcome at Bamber, Burscough, Northwich, Warrington and Prescot-my lad and his mate enjoyed having a designated driver (me) to partake of the real ale festival!
