Play-off segregation

I know it's not required by the league, however it's a bit of a different kettle of fish for play off games where so much is at stake and there's potentially 300 travelling fans - something we've not had so far this season, plus games like this have the potential to attract an element that don't usually attend.

A bit late now but I wonder whether some sort of temporary segregation should have been looked at - maybe stick all of the Ramsbottom fans in the temp seats?! I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling there may be a bit of needle on Wednesday....

Yer I could it getting a bit out of hand, not really sure what can be done at this stage.

Is it not part of the league rules that you have to be able to segregate if needed? ie the Spenny game away last year

Segregation at HP just isn't possible unfortunately, FA rules state that both sets of fans, understandably need access to toilets so straight away that'd be a problem at HP.

Exactly the problem, they're both right next to eachother. How are you supposed to segregate when you have that problem?

Easy. The main turnstyles are entry to the toilets in the stand which holds 250. There is approx standing for 50 equals away fans. Home fans enter via turnstyles at other end of ground. Home fans have both goal ends, and the Sainsburys side of the pitch. Use of the portacabin toilets.

Or 2nd way, main entrance for away fans who have the portacabin toilets and some of the Shed. Segragate near middle of shed. Home fans have the rest of the ground. Entrance to the bar/toilets via stand not side door.

I presume you mean use the main covered stand for away fans-what about the officials, sponsors and hospitality-as well as the bar?

TBF I said it was possible, not practical. Oh can bar/Marquee. Sponsors/ officials in the little room next to the bar or cordon off some of the bar area.

There would be no problem at all if people just behave themselves and enjoy the match!

There wasn't any Segregation for the Spenny home game last season despite a big ground and plenty of Away fans. As Darlo Will says, there shouldn't be any problems.
