Bloody play-offs ey....

Post by divas » Wed Apr 30, 2014 9:21 pm

We're just destined to be let down by them I think.

Still nevermind, plenty to be positive about unlike in previous years when failure meant impending financial implosion.

We have an almost title winning squad that with the addition of a couple of midfielders and with a years worth of experience under their belt will only be better.

We're now on a sound financial footing and will have more debt paid off before we need to increase the budget to succeed further up the pyramid.

At some point in the next year we'll be back home and that will give us a huge lift.

Now hope Bamber win on Saturday so we can gain revenge next season.

Well giving that we've been touch and go still this season and finances were pushed before the Burn money. Don't speak to soon. If crowds decrease cash flow problems will surely come again

Apparently Rangers are on the brink of administration again!!!!!

On another point. Anyone with a good eye spot Jason Ainsley?

Wonder what he now thinks of the standard of the Evo-stick.

And then signed a new long term deal with Darlo.

Some berk claimed it was worth £500 a week - as much truth in that as the Spenny meeting.

A 2 hour meeting wow. What exactly does that signify. I'd be more concerned about a 10minute phone call "how much u getting?" "Not £500 per week" "ok we will double it" "sound, I'll come but you would have to agree a fee with the club first, I am under contract.".

2 hours suggests that no matter what was offered the player wouldn't budge and after 2 hours of trying they gave up.

I know I'm a bit late to all this and it's a very hindsighty thing to come out with, but I had a really bad feeling about us in the playoffs too given previous heartbreaks. All the same, devastating scoreline to see on Wednesday night from afar given where we'd finished in the league.

I've only seen a handful of games this season. Mostly where we've beasted inferior opposition but also the Curzon home game which put a doubt in my mind about how we'd react to another crunch home game. I know the wind made it scarcely a football match but it didn't feel like we handled the occasion well all-round that night.

Nice to be down about only finishing second in the league and narrowly missing out on promotion though... a pleasing change from the clusterfuck of relegadministrations we've been whipped with over previous years.
