Radcliffe borough
One of those clubs who seem to have a stellar list of ex players - Frank Worthington, Alan Kennedy, Peter Barnes, Len Cantello, Ian Bishop - certainly in the past. For those visiting tonight they have a really cracking ground by all accounts.
Borough seem to leak and score a lot of goals. Bit of a disaster on Saturday against kendal although it was close up to a few minutes to go. They did pretty well against Skelmersdale in the cup. The instability in our own squad and injuries makes me ultra-cautious about a prediction. Any thoughts?

Depends who plays for us hard one to call I agree
Re: Radcliffe borough
Unbeaten at home so far, saying that though they don't seem to be anything special.
I hope we have the quality to overcome them!

We do, but we've got to take our chances and put the effort in.
We need to start imposing ourselves onto this league, take all three points and move upwards.

Re: Radcliffe borough
Dont remember the ground being anything special, all I can remember is a wedding reception going on in the Clubhouse at the same time as the game lol.
Think Darlo need to keep in contention for the Play Offs, maybe a bit less expectation now lost to Salford.
Darlo need to be out of this league pronto as I think the higher leagues will suit Darlos play more.
On my way now,my youngest gutted he cant go as got school tomoz.Hes got a few mates coming with us to the Mossley game!

Re: Radcliffe borough
With Noble been dropped then will Hatch/Armstrong be starting with Fisher up front, No Galbraith and Dowson/Purewal will be unlikely to play, i'm not sure on Thompson been back (hinted in Echo one of the injured will be back) but if he is then drop Robinson for him?
Attacking team but we need the goals to come again
Jameson
Brown Hunter White Scott
Mitchell Portas Reed Thompson/Fisher
Armstrong Hatch/Fisher
Not sure who will be on the bench as a full U18's team played last night but I suppose they are young and fit so 2nd half 20-30 mins they should be able to cope with

Is there any Shoutcast commentary?
Re: Radcliffe borough
Important info about tonight from Darlofans Radio. Sadly the laptop they operate from is being repaired therefore there will be no radio off tonight's match.

Re: Radcliffe borough
Looks like Reed may have joined Noble.
The decision to get rid of Jack Walker hasn't looked a great one the last two games.

Thought that myself, bench full of U18's who played last night, let's hope we have it sewn up before 2nd halfdivas wrote:Looks like Reed may have joined Noble.

I was thinking that, but I can't remember who it was against. 3-0 win, wasn't it?divas wrote:Let's hope it pans out like the last time we were delayed.Bogratsteve wrote:Lads have only just arrived, got changed on the bus apparently

Re: Radcliffe borough
Certainly looks like we've seen the last of Noble and Reed if MG prefers the kids .Not really bothered about Walker going as he didn't solve any problems and would only have been another bench warmer we could do without paying.divas wrote:Looks like Reed may have joined Noble.

Re: Radcliffe borough
Walker wasn't a world beater but gave cover in both full back positions which would have allowed Scott to play in midfield or Brown to play at CB

Spennymoor 3 - 0 Ossett Albion
Salford 2 -0 Northwich
Bamber 0-1 Warrington

Re: Radcliffe borough
One of the U18's played CB last season for us a couple of times, big unit (can't remember name) thought he might be a better option than using Hatch when we may need him fresh up front 2nd half.

Re: Radcliffe borough
The players MG is bringing in need to better then what we have as what's the point in bringing them in. We might as well keep Reed and Noble if there not. We need players who are going to make the first teamers think bloody hell we need to be at our best here or we will be on the bench.
