Looks like Droylsden will be the bigger challenge now. They're still 0-0 at the moment, so things looking ok in the league today so far.

So you want three teams to "do a Warrington" and all the results to stand? There's more chance of me winning the lottery. :D

Very poor referring in these leagues,if it were against us nothing would happen,
But our players and sent off,the sooner we leave these leagues behind the better.

0-0. No punch, he pushed the defenders head into the ground after he'd had a niggle at hatch because he didn't like the initial challenge.

The ref didn't even see it he consulted the line man who was 50yards away.

The lads are defending like heros

Good move that, Purewal can hold it up for us, but Dowsons pace and workrate will give them something to think about

Referee again warns the already-booked Peter Jameson about time wasting. Long time to go yet...

Hope he heeds the ref's warning...or we can't risk bringing on our third sub just in case lol

I can only assume there's either unrest in the Salford ranks, or their players can't handle the pressure of the expectation

Whatever happens today in the trophy thats a hell of a result for us in the league, another heavy defeat for Salford is going to have a huge inpact on there confidence

Hunter booked....so that will mean in one game coming up we will be without Brown, Hatch and Hunter. That will test our metal I think.

In terms of the league, I'd rather not a replay. We have a thin enough squad as it is.
