Due to increased demand another bus has been booked for supporters to Salford away on Saturday, so if you haven't made your travel arrangements now is the time to do it

This is great news. Well done to those who have pull out he stops. Now let's help fill it. I've retweeted the announcement. Everyone else should too.

And if you're like me, and unable to stop talking about the game to anyone who wants to listen, let them know too.

Does anybody know what the capacity at Salford is? I can't spot it anywhere but there is a post on their forum that mentions worrying about having to turn people away

Wiki says 1400, but isn't always reliable.

1400 is about right.

Fairly certain it'll be bigger than that. Don't clubs need to have a capacity of 1950 with 250 seats to be allowed in the league (hence why we currently play at Bish)?

1400 is right. I had a look today, as someone on their forum had mentioned that it could end up with some fans being turned away if we take near the numbers being banded about.

Well there you go. You learn something new every day. 1300 capacity with 100 seats for this division.

Think we'll be getting there a bit earlier then. Just in case.

I have no doubt they will sneak an extra few hundred in as we do at Hp.

So by my reckoning that 8 coaches going on Saturday, I think 1000 could be on the conservative side.

I believe the Cleveland Club is running one, so that makes 8, if they don't then I agree with 7.

Markodarlo has informed me there is no bus from Cleveland Club and I would think of anyone, he would know if there was.

If people get turned away(can't see it getting to that stage) it won't be pretty!

Think il try and get down earlier then I intended.

Either - way, fantastic levels of support from us.

Minimum capacity for this level is 1,300. Wikipedia says 1,400 capacity but rarely is that reliable for a ground at this level.

There is probably more interest from the Darlo end than there is from the Salford end. Their 'fan base' who turned up at the start of the season are just Man United fans - and I don't think they will particularly care about us.

I reckon there would be more interest from those around Salford if they played against AFC Liverpool than this game.

When these crunch away games crop up, the Darlo fans give brilliant support and considering the knock backs we have had in recent years and the level we are at, who else could even think about taking probably 1000 fans to a game over 2 hours travelling time away, absolutely superb backing. This will be more like a home game and should give us a massive advantage over them, several clubs in this league in addition to Salford have laid out substantial amounts in bringing new players in with larger squads than ours without a significant increase in attendances, but we blow them out of the water when it comes to fan base and IMO this will be key for us in the run in.
