It's good to hear whispering Ray on the radio again, just hope it isn't the usual result when he is commentating.

Where the hell do we go from here?
Re: Match thread anyone?
2 early goals again like saturday
Re: Match thread anyone?
We need start to passing it around how many times have they said launching it forward or a 60 yard diagonal ball.
Again we should not be playing Brown at right back either Cartwright or Mitchell who can get up and down and pass.

Re: Match thread anyone?
Nearly 3 down, a free header from 6 yards out, very poor defending.

Re: Match thread anyone?
Just launching it long from the back & when we lose it they tear us to bits on the counter
Re: Match thread anyone?
The last two games we have resorted to pure long ball, by passing the midfield and no build up what so ever.
We have brought in the leagues most prolific goal scorer and we create absolutely nothing for him.

You tend to panic when you play at our level and the long ball appear to be the best option.

Re: Match thread anyone?
We really could do with a goal back before half-time. It would make Gray's half-time talk a bit easier.

Re: Match thread anyone?
Seems that teams have done there homework and use pace through the middle and ruffle us up, just as the Salford manager said to do and he was spot on.This will be 3 defeats in the last 6 games, very, very worrying particularly from a defensive viewpoint.Starting to have big doubts now, is 442 the right formation, starting to think we need to have a major change before it is too late. Very worried now.
Re: Match thread anyone?
Brown has been at right-back for most of the season, and most of the season we've been virtually unbeatable. I don't see why we should not be playing him there.quakerste wrote:

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Match thread anyone?
Think we have lost the title now unless there is a massive turnaround in form, need to get back to playing football on the floor.
Re: Match thread anyone?
Dear oh dear, again caught out on break when will we learn ,I thought Saturday was a lesson learned but it appears not, com,on Darlington get it sorted,
Re: Match thread anyone?
Right back and central midfield are the two areas where we have been lacking all season. Brown is a make shift right back at best that is why we tried to bring in Marrs when he was released by Sunderland.
