Match money
was just wondering how the gate money was split. Do Bamber Bridge get a split of the whole gate money or a third of what they sell. Bit unfair if we sell 1700 and they sell 300. After expenses and the leagues cut it still gives them a hefty slice from the home support. Reward for playing Darlo i suppose.

Re: Match money
Seems pretty clear on the statements that they will get 37.5% of whatever the gate money is.windyforce4 wrote:was just wondering how the gate money was split. However if we were to get an FA Cup game at Old Trafford - kerching
It works both ways.

Re: Match money
As publicised in the echo it's 37.5% to each club, of all ticket revenue after costs have been taken out with the remaining 25% going to the league.
Roughly worked we'll receive income for 750 ticket sales, so not too different to a normal home game income wise I'd say despite almost double the attendance.
Someone raised a good point about volunteers being paid for these games, otherwise they're effectively gifting 37.5% of their time to the visitors and 25% to the league.
I'd certainly like to see them remunerated.

I say we pay the volunteers 100% of gate receipts. Split the remainder after these costs between us, Bamber and the league.divas wrote:As publicised in the echo it's 37.5% to each club, of all ticket revenue after costs have been taken out with the remaining 25% going to the league.

Then if the volunteers choose to donate their earnings to the B2D fund, so be it!

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Match money
I thought gate receipts from cup games and playoffs were shared after costs like stewarding etc?

If our stewards are volunteers, then what stewarding costs would there be?

Even those costs would cover your costs from Milford Haven.joejaques wrote:Can I be a steward please?Bogratsteve wrote:Expenses Pete, £100 a mile for travelDarlo_Pete wrote:If our stewards are volunteers, then what stewarding costs would there be?
