Please use this thread to identify your exile location. (e.g. Town, County, Country)

Exiledom is defined as at least 40 miles from Darlington.

This info provides some scope for shared travel, targeting games to visit, socialising, passing on club information etc. for neighbouring exiles, or old friends living away from the NE.

See the DAFTS website for the general idea.

Facebook messaging may be the best way to communicate with each other, as e-mail addresses and telephone numbers can be mis-used by others.

I am usually based in Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway.

Apart from the biggest cities we used to have large exile contingents in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and lots of pockets of 2-3 fans here and there (from the 1990's DAFTS address survey list)

In the 1990s we often heard "I am the only Darlo supporter in my area" only for several neighbouring supporters to be located within months.

Nuneaton, North Warwickshire. Loads of tempting away games next season. But dare I go! Last four games that I watched. Hinckley United.. thrashed us. St. Neots, lost to a good side. Salford away..lost..put off by all the cameras. Finally Northwich Vics at home...lost.
My family say that I am a jinx on the team and should never go again.

I know don't buy the sun is in these parts as well - in fact I am pretty sure he is the bloke I got a train with to Chester when we relegated them.

Locations coming in at over 1 an hour, just with using Uncovered.

I will inform Twitter & Facebook users about the thread now.

Its up to you guys to try and establish any contacts / cooperation with each other, as central registration, legal register security and register update is a pain.

Names may be useful, as there may be old friends living away who you have lost contact with (e.g. after college).

DAFTS exiles have often selected particular home (& away) games for special social weekends, based on pub meetings and I suspect this is likely with the return to Darlington.
