You put Darlo's Post Code in for BM Charlie. Are you just an optimist, or have you heard something we haven't?

A lot of very non-league successful clubs that had great cup runs years gone by and a return to a fellow former League outfit Workington.

Some weekend games in coastal towns to look forward to as well.

I know i should probably not say this , but it really annoys me to see these Welsh teams playing in English football. Eufa should make a stand and tell them to play in the Welsh Premier League. (and that includes Swansea , Cardiff , Newport , Wrexham and Merthyr). Rant over ;)

I think it's a pity that the Welsh Premier League exists, as teams in it can't move anywhere else. There are a couple of non-league teams from Wales that are still in the English Leagues. I noticed that Merthyr got promoted this season. Who remembers going to Merthyr when we were in the Conference 21 or so years ago and all those Cardiff fans turned up to say hello?

When we were in same league as Colwyn Bay it was common practice that they would play on saturday & sunday while in the north east, i.e ourselves on the sat and say Blyth or Spennywood the following day.

Not sure I understand your 'Railing Routing' - I thought the best way to Ashton was to go to Manchester?

And as if by magic up popped Cardiff some 15 years ago at Villa in the paddock. Maybe they're fond of us!

Or maybe there not.

That season in the Conference, we had 3 lots of fans who turned up at a game looking for trouble. Cardiff at Merthyr, Millwall at Fisher Athletic and Bolton at Chorley.
