Their best player Neil Austin was playing aswell!!

It also looks like they gave that Joe Lamplough a trial - although the Pooly Mail haplessly calls him Lamploe.

Also they have lost four on the bounce.

My housemate was at the game (watching his mate play for York) and said pools were just awful, also apparently austin captained them tonight.

bliddy hell, could this mean york are becoming a decent side now? would love them back in the league. then hartlepool to go down, will be like the old days of 2 derbys a season :D

im very surprised at pools pre season results, they look as though they'd assembled a decent squad, they'll be smarting at getting beaten by ipswich to healy tho, that would have been a very good signing at their level.

Bloody hell!! They don't listen do they?

I warned them how difficult it is to get spare parts for an Austin these days - now you're telling me they nearly ended up with an Austin Healey!! :lol: :clap: :lol:
