Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
I think he has the ability to prove that
Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
It seems he played as a lone striker and did well. Good signing for Blyth.
Never argue with an idiot: The best possible outcome is that you win an argument with an idiot.

Did we let him go or did we get a fee?

Free from Darlo - like a lot of the Spennymoor players.MKDarlo wrote:Did we let him go or did we get a fee?
Sounded busy last night and eventually managed a tap-in, after a few unsuccessful attempts.
Does well if someone gets the ball to his feet, but finishing needs to improve, which it should do with more match time.
Darlo's loss may be Blyth's gain.

I see he’s left Sacramento and now back in Darlo, worth another shot?

Lee Gaskell has also been released by Ramsbottom.

Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
Michael Sweet (who apparently is being watched by us) had a bad day yesterday at Heritage Park.
Consett were cruising - half way through the second half and 3/1 up. All they had to do was keep it cool, but a frustrated Sweet picked up a first yellow for impeding a free kick then a second yellow for abusing the linesman.
Bishop then went for it and after the board was held up showing 4 minutes extra time they scored two quick fire goals in the said 4 minutes and gleaned a dramatic point.
Sweet should have kept his head and thought more about his team.

Squandered several opportunities. My opinion is he does not have the physique to match the skill he has. Good luck to him.Darlo_CR wrote:I see he’s left Sacramento and now back in Darlo, worth another shot?
PS His brother Jackson was a promising golfer, however i heard he as laterly an extra on a reality tv show.
Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
Sounds like he was released via text if twitter is anything to go by. A couple of comments from some of our ex-players suggesting they know the feeling.....

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
I'd definitely give him a go if he's currently looking for a club and back in the town.
He'd be a good option on the bench. I doubt 18 months - 2 years in the US playing professionally will have hurt him...

Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
He had something about him..maybe worth a look if he’s currently home and looking for a club. Even short term.

Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. The image on the right will be constantly updated with the latest total so please feel free to use the image link below the thermometer on your own signatures, blogs, websites, etc. | Image link: http://www.mydarlo.co.uk/img/BTD-therm-350x100.jpg |

Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
That's a pretty good crowd, i was expecting ten odd people in some empty high school stadium!
I'm guessing he probably has hopes of going back to the US to play pro again, so maybe we could be an option for him to stay fit on a short term deal.... if the price was right (i.e. negligible)

Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
Well we let Lewis Wing Andy Curtis Edwards go too so I’m not sure that argument stands up.
To be honest I’d be interested due to our lack of bodies and being worth a punt rather than assuming he’s going to be a guaranteed world beater.

On a side note, do we have anybody who scouts for us “Harry Dunn” style?

Re: Wilson Kneeshaw
Guys without a club, but he's been playing pro in the states for the past 18 months.
He has to be a better option than an unknown kid on the bench. I wonder if he knows Wheatley? Wheatley would've been a couple of years below him at Boro I guess.
