F1 qualifying this afternoon, hit on the bonce by a spring falling off Barichello's car, sparked him out and hit a tyre wall at 170 mph.Critical but stable after surgery for fractured skull :shock:

Not sure if I read it wrong, but on the sky sports news updates it said he was in a coma.

Not sure I want to see the pic, but I believe he's been sedated.

Lets hope he pulls through.
This happening only a week after that 18 year old died of something very similar in F2 as well

He's in an induced coma. Life threatening but stable I hear. The next 24-48 hours are critical I think.
