Haven't heard anything. Workington's pitch passed an 8am inspection but they're going to have another due to the weather forecast.

The rain is coming SW to NE - let's just hope it dumps most of it over the Pennines before it reaches us

But if the pitch is playable and covered over pre match, surely that makes it OK?

I can see it being postponed at 2pm, or abandoned mid-game

Rushall v Barwell is the latest game to get postponed, so that's (Barwell) one team we won't need to look over our shoulder at this afternoon.

We've had very little rain in the last week or so.The water table must surely have dropped enough even for a pitch as bad as HP to take a bit of rain. Its not like it's torrential--------------yet.

Always good to hear a bit of optimism :D

Just a reminder that our game is still on - there is no inspection planned (according to the official Facebook page) so please get yourselves along to the ground if you possibly can, together with whatever old footie flags, scarves, or shirts you can dig out for the Alfie Lund appeal (Alfie and his dad will be there today) and also please remember that Graeme Armstrong's Play-Off Final shirt is up for grabs in the raffle.

The shirt is signed by the man himself... the last time he wore it was in the play-off Final when he sealed victory for the Quakers with his headed goal.

Many thanks to Neil Johnson for donating the shirt to help raise funds.

Tickets will be on sale pitch side of the turnstiles as well as in the bar. The winning ticket will be drawn at half-time.

Workington has passed it's second inspection. Looks like they are the only one in play-off contention with a game on.

For anyone who's interested Workington won 1-0. They go above Salford into 2nd. We are 9 points behind them with 5 games in hand.
