Sent off in the first minute for Carlise against Accrington - must be one of the fastest from the start of a game.

I remember Crewe' s keeper being sent off after about 15 seconds at Feethams, late 80's/ early 90's. No sub keepers in those days. We scored the only goal of the game from the resultant penalty.

1994, Robbie Painter was felled. It warrants a mention in Crewe's history....DFCSC_1 wrote:I remember Crewe' s keeper being sent off after about 15 seconds at Feethams, late 80's/ early 90's. No sub keepers in those days. We scored the only goal of the game from the resultant penalty.

The incident in 1995 is also quite entertaining.
"At a meeting held at the Grammar School on Friday last - Mr Phillip Wood M.A., in the chair - it was resolved to form an Association Football Club for Darlington and neighbourhood. The opinions of those present were so unanimous as to the desirability of this step, that a committee was formed to complete the organisation of the club, and Mr Craven, 17, Garden Street, was appointed secretary pro tem." - The Northern Echo, Monday 23rd July 1883

Any mention of Crewe reminds me of the cup game in '93 when all the standing Darlo came into the stand as it was chucking it down! I think they had to pay the extra. We lost 4-2 but I think we were winning for a while?
Re: J.Ibehre
Alan White getting sent off final game of Dave Penney era... that was around 10-15 seconds in to a game at the arena.

Tommy Wright down at Barnet - pretty sure the ball bounced up in the air straight from kick off and elbows Tommy went flying in.feethams wrote:Alan White getting sent off final game of Dave Penney era... that was around 10-15 seconds in to a game at the arena.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

We were 2-0 up I think, but Crewe were on fire that season I believe.don'tbuythesun wrote:Any mention of Crewe reminds me of the cup game in '93 when all the standing Darlo came into the stand as it was chucking it down! Got to see the Jabo Ibehre sending off the other day, what a complete joke of a decision - I see refereeing in League 2 is getting no better - the red card was overt turned anyway and I noticed he bagged at the weekend.

Here's the footage along with a review of other quick sendings off. Alan White is at number 4.
