49- Not a good start for Railway as Purewal looks to have suffered a groin injury and is replaced by Dan Barrett

Purewal was running through on goal after Thirkell's pass but stopped abruptly and signalled to the bench. Hope it's not a bad one
Oh dear

Re: Purewal injured
Easby.. can you confirm or deny whether this would happen after rehab according to your physio mate?
In all seriousness, hope it's just a niggle and he didn't want to risk it.

Re: Purewal injured
He scored twice in a 3-0 win. But it was against New Mills who have 1 point all season.
"At a meeting held at the Grammar School on Friday last - Mr Phillip Wood M.A., in the chair - it was resolved to form an Association Football Club for Darlington and neighbourhood. The opinions of those present were so unanimous as to the desirability of this step, that a committee was formed to complete the organisation of the club, and Mr Craven, 17, Garden Street, was appointed secretary pro tem." - The Northern Echo, Monday 23rd July 1883

All the best for Amar a full recovery and return to the ranks next season.
Replacement Hardy is a class act and is winning over the "rotation doubters" as his game time increases.
