Re: To the Missing 500
Compared with a normal Tuesday crowd, there was a good 600 new faces. I doubt any of them will have been disappointed with what they saw, as it was a terrific match and very exciting. It'll be interesting to see what our crowd is this Saturday. Hopefully a good few will return and the crowd will be at least 1200.
Re: To the Missing 500
Saturdays crowd should be 1300 to reflect the good performance against Salford. Gutted to be missing another game. Feels positive that automatic promotion is getting closer

You always seem to get extra faces for the cup final
Doubt they'll be back soon.

Obvious trawl by a Salford fan ...Uncle Frank wrote:You always seem to get extra faces for the cup final

ALL our games are cup finals
Usually in a Cup Final the opposition bring more than 18 supporters, so obviously it was not

It must be soul-destroying when you go fishing on the message board of another team, only to find that your team isn't on the list of clubs you can add to your profile
Re: To the Missing 500
Yep, counted 87 that turned up for their teams cup final.Uncle Frank wrote:You always seem to get extra faces for the cup final

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Not bad for a club with 200 core support.Spyman wrote:Yep, counted 87 that turned up for their teams cup final.Uncle Frank wrote:You always seem to get extra faces for the cup final

Where did you get 87 from Simon ? I know there were 18 on their bus !!!!

Bit harsh.Neil Johnson wrote:Not bad for a club with 200 core support.
High - 1,311
Low - 359
Average - 631
And we only have 70 on our bus. Does that mean there were only actually 88 people there.footifan wrote:Where did you get 87 from Simon ? I know there were 18 on their bus !!!!
I know Salford isn't famous for being particularly wealthy but the residents are able to travel by other means than minibus.
He actually says he got it from counting. It is pretty obvious from the video there were c. 100 people in the Salford end.
Re: To the Missing 500
I must need my eyes checked, I would of guessed 40-50 salford at most.lo36789 wrote:Bit harsh.Neil Johnson wrote:Not bad for a club with 200 core support.

Think before posting
Re: To the Missing 500
On the highlights it showed Salford fan in the main stand too. Clearly 100+ Salford fans there and fair play to all of them

Actually it is not obvious from the video " LO "( yes I am aware of cars too ... clown )
The Salford fans in the seating behind the goal counted 24 approx ( the others sat in the first half were Darlo fans that switched ends at half time). Apart from the Salford fan with the big head in front of the camera... It is not obvious, maybe the other 70 were all at the bog.
Salford fans themselves said they took around 30 which seems about right
Re: To the Missing 500
Not quite sure why all the Salford bashing. As far as I'm aware none of the fans have ever claimed to be hugely well supported, they're a small team with a bunch of core fans that probably never wanted any of the furore that has enveloped the club and we're happy supporting a small non league club which is why they go along to Salford and not one of the larger clubs close by.
The only Salford fan that ever comes on here has always been nothing but pleasant.

I am not having a go or Salford bashing it was a genuine question born out of curiosity... Is that OK ?

Re: To the Missing 500
There are 30 in the stand behind the goal alone(the near side one) plus I can count at least 27 more down the side where it is segregated. There were at least 57 and that doesn't count an area just before where the fans on the side come into view and if there were any stood a little bit further back down the side as well.
There are also those who are in the main stand - there is at least 1 group coz they are right in front of the camera!
If there were <70 in total I'd be surprised when I've actually counted. The near side was less congested than I remembered from the video.

Re: To the Missing 500
More than I expected on Tue night and probably about 70/80, not a bad following all the way up here on a cold mid-week night. Sat in the stand you could here about 3 or 4 singing, well you might call it drunken shouting but they did keep going.lo36789 wrote:There are 30 in the stand behind the goal alone(the near side one) plus I can count at least 27 more down the side where it is segregated. Agree with you divas...On THIS site he has always been pleasant. But, on the Salford site he is the one who ALWAYS has the last word in any debate..Even when wrong.

Re: To the Missing 500
The one's in the main stand were sat in the away directors seats, so only 4 or 5 at the most, but unfortunately they sit on the row in front of Kev, so giving a false impression of their numbers.love it! wrote:On the highlights it showed Salford fan in the main stand too. What they lacked for in numbers they made up for in enthusiasm. So fair dos to them.

Obviously not, but it was an improvement and the crowds are gradually getting better.

No they were at your Salford v Workington match... that is all they could muster for a top 4 clash which moved them into second. 555 wonder how many were Workington fans ?

"all they could muster for a top 4 clash" - sorry you are salford bashing there and I think backs up that your previous questions were hardly innocently posed either - despite previous protestations.footifan wrote:I am not having a go or Salford bashing it was a genuine question born out of curiosity... Their season average is 639 which is quite respectable, and that is after the Darlo boost so 555 is decent and puts them third in the average attendance table.
As Divas said the Salford supports are on the most part quite genuine people, still wearing tangerine. They didn't ask for the money men to come in and you wouldn't expect anyone to ditch their club after striking lucky!

Re: To the Missing 500
I agree with most of what you say lo. But,
on their site even some of the "genuine" fans love to have a go at us....indeed, their comments about Darlington fans are not respectful.
I do know we have a few idiots but they seem to tar us all with the same brush.
Not saying footifan is right in goading them but on their board they do like to have a go as well..Even those thought of as respectful.

Re: To the Missing 500
lo have you ever thought of applying for a job counting traffic? You know the ones I mean with their car often parked on a pavement or roundabout sitting in a deck chair with a clip board and clip counter. Your skills would undoubtedly suit such a role!lo36789 wrote:There are 30 in the stand behind the goal alone(the near side one) plus I can count at least 27 more down the side where it is segregated. That Martin Cooper on the Facebook NPL group is a right hypocrite. Loves sticking the boot into Darlo but spits his dummy out whenever someone has a go at Salford. My opinion wrote:I agree with most of what you say lo. But,

Liam Curry, the Spenny fan is another dimwit.
