Grounds to visit next season

Post by Rufusuk » Sun May 08, 2016 7:04 pm

Add both Harrogate and Boston to the list after today's play off results.

Was our last match against Boston when Julian Jochim played us off the park and then signed for us a couple of days later?

Boston was a bit of a trek for us in the Football League days, hopefully the far more accessible North Ferriby will be playing us as well.

Skegness is relatively near to Boston if you have kids in the car, or just fancy a seaside visit.

Just 18 miles from me Neil, so I was praying they would stay down. Also just 10 minutes walk from the real ale paradise The Eagle.

Me and about 9,999 (or thereabouts) Darlo fans have! Have you been travelling in a time machine?

Wanting to go back to Boston, which I think was only my 2nd away game as a Darlo fan...

The Yorkshire games, a few Manchester games as well is what I want to get to

For you statto's here is a list of all 144 clubs that have ever been in the football league. There are only 6 clubs above us, that are no longer football league clubs.

It's also a short hop (pun intended) to Wainfleet and Bateman's brewery.

Been to Boston, Kiddy, Stockport, Cheltenham and Halifax. Really looking forward to Harrogate, Stalybridge, Gainsborough and Chorley.

Proper grounds now. I've loved going to the likes of Whitley Bay, Blyth and Lancaster Bhutto looking forward to the next step.

Think you mean that have never had football league status...there are 24 national league clubs right now that aren't football league clubs.

It rather surprised me that I've been to 11 grounds of our upcoming opponents.

Jeez, quite right! Must be suffering from selective amnesia or effects of legal highs and pints catching up with the little grey cells....
Didn't we win there? 'Spen', please confirm
