Could be a shrewd signing - Jameson needs competition to keep on improving, but Jameson I think has the potential to be with us a long time - even if we do end up going pro in the conference at some point in the (distant) future. A signing such as Sam Russell (say) could have meant extended time on the bench for Jameson, which may have lead to him leaving.

And at this level, you just cannot have,nor afford, two first team choice goalies in the squad. Mark will know the score and his place - but will step up when needed. If Jameson is injured for 4-6 weeks then mark will be competent cover

Could have sworn he played for us the whole NL season (after we signed him!), most of the first EvoStik North season and in the Spennymoor semi-final...
