In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
The move to close the club is part of the administration process.
The statement from Brackenbury & Co in the next 24/48 hours will be to say they have now gone...thank god!
Come Tues or Wednesday we will be out of Administration!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
It would make sense but at the same time, why werent we made aware of this?
If they had prewarned everyone that we would be closed for 24 hours while things were sealed then fine.
But again we are the last to know, the PR for the administrators could not be worse

Hope your right, but what brings you to that conclusion???
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"
Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
So why did they bother to sack everyone?

The PR in that place is unbelievable isn't it?

Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
They have to sack every one because they need to give them P45's - off the payroll - if they are taken on by the new Darlo fc then they will be put under the new payroll for the new darlo fc company

Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
Is it possibly because the administrators have to 'technically' sack everyone as they are finished their involvement with the club, then it is up to Raj to re-employ everyone under the umbrella of the 'new' company?Shieldsy wrote:So why did they bother to sack everyone?

Evening gazette have ammended there article, they've now added to the end
"However the Gazette understands that it is part of the process of closing the old club and forming a new one"
Cant remember any of this happening the time Reynolds put us in admin

They sacked them and did not tell them that they will be employed by the new company because they do not have the authority to give them employment to the new company... if that makes sense.

I can understand that but why aren't we told that this is likely to happen. Everything that goes on seems to just generate this 'shock-horror' syndrome with everyone.

Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
just come on here to post this
the gazette article now ends with
"However the Gazette understands that it is part of the process of closing the old club and forming a new one. "
This would make more sense, but then again when has sense ever come into it.
With the admin poor communication thus far it wouldnt surprise me if that was the reason tho, it'll just be a parting shot from the administrators to try and alienate the fans for getting at the them throughout the takeover process.
fingers crossed that we are rid of them by the end of the week.

The administrators just thrive on sensationalisms - a poor way to behave. A professional outfit - I THINK NOT!!!

Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
I've got a headache now.
If this was part of the process then surely they could have told the staff to take the day off? Or seeing as they weren't being paid anyway they could have continued to work through this process?
I can't make head or toe of this nonsense!

they do indeed, they also love to build up the suspense - why couldnt they sack the staff at the same time as issuing a statement - cos that would be too sensibleweststanddave wrote:The administrators just thrive on sensationalisms - a poor way to behave. A professional outfit - I THINK NOT!!!
instead they sack the staff and let the fans wait 24/48 hours (more than likely it'll be even longer) for an update on whats actually happening.
if i didnt know better id think it was done to make news and sell stories - Echo sponsoring the stadium comes to mind......
Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
I have done some research and i think you might be right - it is just another example of the terrible PR from the administrators!
I think they have to issue P45 forms as the company ceases to exisit. Why cant they just put a bloody press release out. It sounds like they didnt even explain it to the staff! Very unprofessional

I don't know the politics behind it but surely it isn't necessary to send the staff home and lock the doors just to issue a P45?!RH79 wrote: I think they have to issue P45 forms as the company ceases to exisit. Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
The thing that makes me most concerned is Raj's stance:
"I am the buyer and the administrators need to satisfy me - not the other way round. The staff have organised pre-season games and have been preparing for the season. The money for the pre-season games has been taken by the administrators, so I don't know why they have taken this action today. It is in the hands of my lawyers."
If the administrators can't even communicate with the new buyer what's going on, what kind of cowboy outfit are they?

one that we hopefully will never have to encounter again after the end of this week.Hilly wrote:If the administrators can't even communicate with the new buyer what's going on, what kind of cowboy outfit are they?
like i say, it might just be my suspicious mind but it seems a lot of this is done to create news.....and sell newspapers.....

Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
I really don't think so
I get the impression that the papers have been left chasing shadows like we have for the most part.
As a reporter, there is nothing more frustrating than not being able to get to the bottom of something and this summer so much has been up in the air it has been unbelievable.
It seems bizarre that there appears to have been a power struggle between Singh and the administrators though?? Maybe it is just because we are following this so closely but I can't recall seeing similar stories with Stockport or Southampton when they went into/came out of administration?
I am actually hopeful that this might, just might, be the beginning of the end of our summer of uncertainty and we can all go back to worrying about the team.

He could be divas and I hope he is.
The thing is PQ is obviously assuming that's what's going to happen, it's nothing to hang on to is it?
Either way a decision needs to be made for better or for worse this gone on for far too long.

Re: In 24/48 Hours we will be out of Administration
I think that depends on the circumstances. If the new company has already been set up, then I don't see why everybody would need to be sent home - surely the staff payroll could be transferred and start from the moment when the old company is closed? If the new company hasn't been set up (I don't know if it has or not, I'm very confused), then presumably the club would need to be closed until there is a new company in place. Once a P45 is issued, you are no longer legally attached to that employer and thus can no longer work for or be paid by that employer.quaker4life wrote:I don't know the politics behind it but surely it isn't necessary to send the staff home and lock the doors just to issue a P45?!RH79 wrote: I think they have to issue P45 forms as the company ceases to exisit. Darlo are comimg out of admin. Raj has brought the turnaround. As for the PR it is shocking and waste of money. Get rid and employ some one part/time and multifunctional. Well done Raj you saved our Club.
