The best prices you can get are

Halifax are 10/3
Fylde are 6/1
Darlo 10/1

We were 16/1 on the eve of the new season starting.

Whether we get promoted or not this season, I can't believe how close we are to the Conference National already, as it feels like only yesterday when we got kicked down the leagues.

I was just thinking about this from the other perspective, how far off Northern League level seems now. Of course in their 3 eyes, the NL is roughly half way between Conference North and Conference National in standard.
"At a meeting held at the Grammar School on Friday last - Mr Phillip Wood M.A., in the chair - it was resolved to form an Association Football Club for Darlington and neighbourhood. The opinions of those present were so unanimous as to the desirability of this step, that a committee was formed to complete the organisation of the club, and Mr Craven, 17, Garden Street, was appointed secretary pro tem." - The Northern Echo, Monday 23rd July 1883

There may be better odds on offer tomorrow, when we are overtaken by some of the teams playing tonight.
