It was never 611, more like 911. Park Avenue with some interesting accounting

Well we were s***. But I do t care. We won. Somehow. What we really need now is no replay in the cup. So they can have a rest. This happened last season. We played so many matches early on that fatigue set in. You can't train and play midweek. So Gray can't spend any time working with players. Win on Saturday and this struggling form will vanish. I have to give credit to the lads for their never say die commitment. I still don't know how we won that.

Amar at fault for the goal. He lost his man. Beck needs a rest. We need a plan B.

Agree. Def more than 600 there tonight.

Phew!

How did Woolston play in goal? Sounds like we got away with one last night, but credit to the lads as they ground out a result.

He was solid. Didn't have much to deal with apart from long range shots.

We were the better team and created more chances against a poor side. Understandably wasn't a convincing performance given all our injuries but the lads battled through.

Although we dominated possession for long periods and forced a large amount of corners in the game it felt a bit of a subdued performance from the players on the pitch.

In my view, I think those of us in the seats didn't give the kind of 'backing' to the players that we know we are capable of either. I'm as guilty as anyone of that.

It's difficult to understand why. A 'flat' performance by the players potentially didn't 'fire' up the support. Maybe the configuration of the ground didn't help. Being strung out the length of the pitch in the stand maybe didn't create that 'togetherness' for the fans.

Whatever it was and whatever we all thought about the evening, what we can count on with Martin Gray's teams is that they fight to the end and credit to the players for not giving up and getting the two late goals

Winning when not at your best.... i'll take that all day long.

We were by no means the team we should be last night but 3 points is 3 points and credit the lads for never giving up. Whilst it's hard given the injuries and fatigue, a few of the players really had shockers last night - Nowakowski at times looked totally lost and had no idea what to do when the ball came to him. On the plus side, the new keeper looked confident and solid and Marrs is starting to grow in confidence down the right too.

We do need a plan B though, lumping the ball constantly to Beck is getting us found out early in games and once defenders know our game plan, it's very easy to shut us down.

Seen the goals on youtube and the keeper had no chance with their goal. Thought the delivery for the first and Galbraith's corner for the second was superb. Galbraith just seems to get better and better.

Martin Grays comments on last night's game. I didn't realise that the keeper from Newcastle saw us play in the FA Trophy final at Wembley, that almost makes him a fan!!

Another insult, must have run out of arguments then?

Sadly it seems that when you are shown to be wrong on every point you think it clever to revert to insults. It says more about you than anything else

Come on Spen, it may be a tad insulting - but try to appreciate the wittiness.

CHOMP!

You are so thin-skinned and so easy to bait, it is hilarious.

Always keen to dish it out, but you hate being the butt of the joke yourself.

Try and take life a bit less seriously Peter.

What the hell was that crazy little stand thing behind one of the goals? Did someone sneak a bus shelter into the ground or something?

Pretty much my analysis of last night too. Wasn't a pretty performance and I honestly couldn't see us scoring once we went 1 down, we just weren't creating anything that seriously asked them any questions but credit to the lads who dug deep and we got 3pts that realistically our performance didn't deserve. Well done to Jordan Watson, kept his head up after that shocker of a cross and put in a great ball for Hardy to notch his 5th in 11 games.

Beck must be absolutely buggered after playing 90 minutes every game since the start of the season, but we go into the weekend with confidence, unbeaten away from home and that win last night will have give them a lift, not at the races but still came away with 3pts.

We usually take a good following over to Lancaster, hopefully that will be the same on Saturday and we can get ourselves in the next round
